This model is named after Place Vendôme in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France, which was created in the 14th century during the reign of Louis XIV and was once surrounded by noble mansions, now lined with luxury boutiques and high-end hotels.

Based on the Wellington shape, which is one of the classic styles, this piece features a unique rim front design with a completely straight brow line and a strong roundness at the bottom. While incorporating strong roundness, it also takes advantage of the characteristics of the 10mm thick acetate block material, achieving bold cutting and well-defined surfaces, resulting in a modern and stylish impression.
The product features the distinctive paddle temple of J.M.M (a term for the wide temple parts that resemble the oars used in small boats). The overall shape of the completed form evokes the classic masterpiece "F.D.R" from TART OPTICAL, founded in New York, USA, paying homage to tradition.
